K25.ai, a Singapore-based startup, is moving to capture a major gap in Asia’s prediction market industry by blending artificial intelligence with live streaming to pioneer a “watch-to-predict” model. Founded by Andy Cheung, former Chief Operating Officer of crypto exchange OKX, the venture positions prediction markets as interactive entertainment rather than a purely financial asset.

The platform’s AI layer automates the prediction lifecycle, from event discovery and market generation to live content analysis and outcome resolution, letting creators launch prediction pools around sports, esports, entertainment, and cultural events with minimal friction. Over 35,000 users have registered for the platform’s community beta waitlist.

The strategy comes as Asian regulators crack down on decentralized prediction platforms, with Singapore, Thailand, and Taiwan all restricting access to Polymarket over unlicensed gambling concerns. K25.ai is targeting permitted markets including Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, while excluding mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and the U.S.

The compliance-first approach has drawn substantial institutional backing. Nasdaq-listed NewGenIVF Group initiated a strategic investment in May, and K25.ai has since closed a Series A round pushing its valuation to $200 million. Following strong early beta performance, NewGenIVF has agreed to expand its stake to 13 percent, implying a $250 million valuation.

The scaling reflects a broader shift as prediction markets move from political betting toward mainstream sports and culture; Bernstein projects the sector could reach $1 trillion by 2030. With fresh funding secured, K25.ai has signaled intentions toward a future public listing.
